Mayor Bloomberg of New York City has passed a law that forbids the sale of super sized soft drinks in restaurants, food trucks and carts, delis and concession stands at sporting and concerts events. Scientists have been reporting that the sugar in these beverages, especially in huge portions, is a main culprit in the rise of diabetes and heart disease.
