Scientists claim that they have found definitive proof of the Higgs boson atom does indeed, exist.  Well, kind of.  The Higgs boson is  thought to be the mechanism that gives mass to some particles, while selectively leaving other particles without mass.  Scientists have searched for its evidence since the 1960s, but it remains elusive.  One researcher compared it to dinosaur fossils by saying, “You see the footprints and the shadow of the object, but you don’t actually see it.”  Read more at yahoo.com.
