The World Health Organization reports that the Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo has drastically worsened and could spread to major cities in Africa and beyond.  The death toll has doubled to claim 31 victims in the past week, five of the deceased were health care workers.  This outbreak appears to be unrelated to the August Ebola cases in Uganda.  Experts report that the outbreak in the Congo is linked with eating contaminated bush meat.  Read more here.
