Cheap USB Ultrasound To Aid Developing Countries

A scientist in the UK has developed an inexpensive ultrasound device that could potentially save the lives of hundreds of thousands of women and babies.  The USB device is the size of a computer mouse and can be manufactured for as little as $50 per device.  It is compatible with computers that are ten years old or newer.  This technology will provide medical professionals with crucial information before the delivery.  Read more here.
