Genes That Determine Facial Shape Identified

An international team of scientists has identified the five genes that determine the shape of human faces.  Scientists studied the DNA variants of over 10,000 people and were able to map facial features through the use of magnetic resonance imaging and facial portraiture.  This discovery has vast implications for forensic studies, especially since scientists are able to study DNA to determine hair and eye color with high accuracy now.
